The biggest change is in 2026: the Corolla hybrid and the new 2.0L move to a longer body — 4,710 mm long on a 2,750 mm wheelbase, up from 4,635 mm and 2,700 mm — with a restyled nose, a 12.9-inch screen on upper trims and Toyota Pilot driver assistance. The 2026 1.2T keeps the older body. The 2024 and 2025 cars share the familiar shape that has been on sale since 2019.

What changed on the 2026 hybrid?
- More rear space: +75 mm length and +50 mm wheelbase — relevant for taxi and chauffeur use.
- Bigger screens: Elite and Flagship get a 12.9-inch touchscreen on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155P chip and an 8.8-inch cluster (2024–2025: 10.25-inch and 7-inch).
- Driver assistance: “Toyota Pilot” replaces “Toyota Safety Sense” in the specification, still rated L2.
- Same hybrid system: 1.8 L engine + 70 kW motor, 101 kW combined; WLTC 4.13–4.45 L/100 km.

Is the 2025 Corolla worth buying over the 2026?
Often, yes, for fleets. The 2025 Hybrid posts the lowest WLTC figure of any Corolla (4.06 L/100 km) and shares body panels and parts with the large number of 2019-onward Corollas already in service in many markets. The 2025 1.2T is rated at 5.88 L/100 km on both trims, slightly better than the 2026 1.2T.
Why consider the 2024 model year?
The 2024 range has the widest choice: three hybrid trims (the Flagship adds a 12.3-inch digital cluster and heated front seats) and two petrol engines, including the only 1.5 L three-cylinder in the line-up. Stock and pricing on outgoing model years change quickly — ask sales what is currently available.

- Rough roads, basic workshops: 2024 1.5L.
